Event description


Want to attract more deer and grouse to your woods?

Are you a landowner in northern Minnesota?

Join other hunters to learn how harvesting trees can improve your future hunts.

Learn from wildlife biologists and foresters on the habitat needs of deer and grouse.

Connect with professionals who can help you get your harvest done in a way that will leave your woods better than before, and leave with a plan for improving deer and grouse habitat in your woods.

Registration includes materials, food, and a chance at door prizes!

These workshops are hosted by the East Range Joint Powers board and Minnesota Deer Hunters Association, and are possible due to generous support and donations from: Ruffed Grouse Society, American Woodcock Society, American Bird Conservancy, Sappi North America, Minnesota Forestry Association, Louisiana Pacific Corporation, Minnesota Forest Industries, and Wildlife Management Institute.
