When was the last time you truly deeply relaxed, mind, body and spirit? Modern living and
technology doesn’t lend itself to creating a relaxed state, so it’s up to us to give ourselves the
gift of deep relaxation. And in return, relaxation provides us with the gifts of healing, clarity,
energy and creativity; in other words, a doorway back to ourselves.

Matthew’s life journey has led him through many different experiences from farming to disc
jockeying, management to hatha yoga teacher. In 1982, during a particularly stressful period
in his life, that journey dramatically changed direction after he discovered meditation. Five
years later, that exploration led him to join the Brahma Kumaris. 1993 he became a resident
and facilitator at their Global Retreat Centre near Oxford where his spiritual experiences and
insights and many life skills are fully utilized in the running of this busy meditation centre.
