About this event

Building or upgrading a commercial or high-end project studio for the purposes of mixing music in the relatively new Dolby Atmos format can seem daunting. But it doesn’t have to be. Denise Barbarita will interview Emma Brooks, Greg “Stryke” Chin and Nathaniel Reichman about their experiences consulting for and mixing in Atmos music studios. This discussion will focus on why Dolby has recommended certain configurations of loudspeakers, subwoofers, and target SPLs. They will discuss the Dolby Audio Room Design Tool (DARDT), and explain the necessary QC process with headphones and loudspeakers when preparing a commercial music release in the Dolby Atmos format.

In person attendance is limited and requires a ticket. (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/711551478627?aff=oddtdtcreator)
