W.K. Kellogg Foundation Access Funds

The W.K. Kellogg Foundation has awarded CNM Ingenuity funds to improve the economic security of eligible individuals in Bernalillo County by providing training and support in obtaining high quality STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) related jobs.

If you are eligible you may be awarded funds to cover some or all of the following*:

  • The entire course tuition cost
  • Course supplies, such as a laptop
  • Childcare reimbursement (up to $1,000 per month, per child, during the training program, must be through a licensed daycare provider)
  • Technical assistance
  • Paid internship opportunities

Eligible graduates who start a software development company after graduating a Deep Dive Coding Bootcamp may receive sales assistance to acquire initial contracts. These funds will be taxable to you or your business.

*Please note, these funds may be taxable.

Eligibility Requirements

  • You must be a Bernalillo County resident, or a member of a Native American tribe in New Mexico, and your total household income must be 200% of federal poverty guidelines or less, meaning that your household income must be less than the numbers listed below. Additionally, you must be a person of color and a parent of a child age 8 or under.

Special consideration may also be given if you are a single mother of children under 18

Even if you meet the eligibility requirements, funds are limited and therefore eligibility does not guarantee that you will be awarded funds. If you are approved to receive Access Funds, they cannot be transferred to another person or a later class date. You can only receive funds to attend one program and you cannot transfer to another class once you are registered.
