"Deconstructing Anxiety: A Powerful New Approach to Understanding and Treating Anxiety"

This seminar, led by internationally renowned psychologist and award-winning presenter Dr. Todd Pressman, is a groundbreaking, completely new approach to rapidly uncovering the root causes of anxiety. You will learn never-before-presented techniques for releasing the resistances that keep anxiety alive, getting at their source and transforming them into a sense of high purpose and meaning. Early research is showing that this approach is highly effective for quickly and reliably resolving anxiety of any sort. "Deconstructing Anxiety" will teach you how to find the core fear and chief defense at the root of anxiety. There are five core fears--universal themes of loss--including fear of abandonment (loss of love), loss of identity, loss of meaning, loss of purpose and fear of death. Each of us chooses one of these in childhood and develops a defense style around them. In fact, our entire personality is organized around the core fear and chief defense dynamic. Thinking this is our best bet against fear, we end up locking ourselves in to a perception and lifestyle dictated by fear. The way out of this predicament is to thoroughly deconstruct these elements of anxiety and set ourselves free with the techniques that will be provided.

Participants will undergo the actual processes being discussed, making for a rich and highly experiential presentation. Come prepared for an exciting adventure into the deepest regions of the unconscious, where the hidden fears that give rise to all our struggles live, making them available for rapid and deep transformation.

This seminar provides 6 continuing education credits for psychologists, social workers, LPCs, LMFTs, creative arts therapists, chemical dependency counselors and nurses. However, it will be presented at a level appropriate for anyone interested in understanding and resolving anxiety.

For more information and to register, go to www.ceuregistration.com and click on "Deconstructing Anxiety", or call 866-992-9399 ext. 105.

FOLLOWING THE SEMINAR, THERE WILL BE AN OPPORTUNITY FOR THOSE WHO ATTENDED TO CREATE ONGOING MEETINGS ON "DECONSTRUCTING ANXIETY". THIS GROUP WOULD SERVE AS A FOLLOW UP TO THE SEMINAR, LEARNING TO MASTER THE PRINCIPLES AND TECHNIQUES IN EVERYDAY LIFE. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS WORK BUT CANNOT ATTEND THE SEMINAR, PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS POSTING DIRECTLY WITH YOUR REQUEST.

Todd E. Pressman, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist and international seminar leader. He is widely known for his work with Transpersonal Breathwork and A Course in Miracles. He graduated with degress in psychology from University of Pennsylvania and Saybrook Institute. His books "Radical Joy: Awakening Your Potential For True Fulfillment" and "The Bicycle Repair Shop: A true Story Of Recovery From Multiple Personality Disorder" have received high acclaim. In 1982, he traveled the world to study the great wisdom and healing traditions, including with a Zen master, a Jain family, a Zoroasrain high priest and a Sri Lankan firewalker.
