Event description
At this second part of the two-part conversation on decolonizing public art, we center performance art, visual art and cultural organizing.

About this Event

Artists Kealoha Ferreira and Olivia Levins Holden will explore how artists are standing up and fighting back against colonization, from Puerto Rico to Mauna Kea, and how this impacts the future of public art in the U.S. The discussion will be facilitated by Candida Gonzalez.

Did you miss Part I? The first part of this two-part conversation was held on September 25, 2019 at All My Relations Gallery, featuring artists Votan and Missy Whiteman, and was facilitated by Angela Two Stars. Watch the Part I conversation at https://forecastpublicart.org

Forecast/Forward is a new programming series by Forecast Public Art featuring those working at the intersection of arts, culture, place and equity.
