Join us at The Boulevard Woodgrill in Clarendon to meet the parents of Decoding Dyslexia Virginia as they introduce the grassroots movement for raising awareness about dyslexia that is taking place across our country.
Our guest speaker will be, Deborah Lynam, Director Parent Community Engagement with Learning Ally and one of the founding members of the Decoding Dyslexia movement.
There will also be resource tables with lots of information as well as time to chat with parents and educators. Come learn about what is being done, what needs to be done, and how you can get involved!
Additional Information: The Boulevard Woodgrill will be providing light snacks and cash bar.
Metro: The Boulevard Woodgrill is located on Wilson Boulevard at Fillmore Street in the heart of Clarendon, just two blocks from the Clarendon Metro station.
Parking: $5 parking located in the lot on Fillmore behind The Boulevard Woodgrill; $3 parking in the garage on Fillmore between Wilson Blvd and Charendon St. or free parking on the street as available after 6pm.

Decoding Dyslexia VA
Is a grassroots movement driven by VA families focused on providing resources, support and educational interventions for dyslexia and other language-based learning differences. We aim to raise dyslexia awareness, empower families to support their children and inform policy-makers on best practices to identify, remediate and support students with dyslexia in Virginia.
