In this webinar, we will review what decision-making capacity is: how it is assessed and measured.

About this Event

Decision-making capacity of clients is important in many areas of law but for lawyers who represent elderly and dependent adults, it is foundational. From attorney retention and throughout the attorney's representation, the client's ability to make decisions is central to the work of elder law practitioners. In this webinar, we will review what capacity is: how it is assessed and measured. We will also discuss the representation of clients with questionable or impaired capacity.
