About this event
Decision Leadership: Empowering Others to Make Better Choices
The East Bay Chapter of the Berkeley Haas Alumni Network invites you to come hear Professor Don Moore share insights from his latest book which encourages leaders to think of themselves as decision architects, designing systems for organizational "decision factories" for greatest collective benefit, enabling those around them to make wise, ethical choices consistent with their own interests and the organization’s highest values.
Don Moore is Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and holds the Lorraine Tyson Mitchell Chair in Leadership at the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley. His research interests include overconfidence, including when people think they are better than they actually are, when people think they are better than others, and when they are too sure they know the truth. He is the author of Perfectly Confident: How to calibrate your decisions wisely. His most recent book is Decision Leadership, written with Max Bazerman.
