Description

High School District 214 Community Education will host political journalists and other experts for a free, conversational analysis of the 2018 Illinois gubernatorial race. The panel-style event, part of a continued effort to engage the community on topics of importance, will discuss key issues, priorities and concerns at the heart of the campaign. Confirmed guests include Natasha Korecki, Reporter with POLITICO Illinois and author of the Illinois Playbook; and Jim Slusher, Deputy Managing Editor for Opinion at the Daily Herald. Jason Block, a former journalist and a Prospect High School American Studies and journalism teacher, will moderate the conversation. Attendees will be able to submit written questions for consideration during the conversation.
