Decentralized Web & Next-gen Distributed Information Systems
Event Information
Description
We all know that the future of human communications technology cannot rest on the current pile of brokenness that is ARPAnet. Social networking, from email to Facebook and Twitter, are structurally flawed in almost every desirable aspect: privacy, time well spent, multiculturalism, resilience to attack.
You are being invited to this event because you are building or researching technologies that will replace parts or all of the current stack. Come meet other high-bandwidth geeks and hackers that are doing the same. Discussions can range from deep network architecture and mesh networks to sociology and cognitive psychology.
Please share this event link only to people who you think would be able to participate meaningfully in a high-bandwidth technical discussion.
