Event description

Description

Valir Rehabilitation Hospital offers a free bi-monthly Stroke Survivor and Caregiver Lunch and Learn (LNL), benefiting the survivor, the caregiver, and those that love and support these individuals. Click here to view flyer.

Please join us as we express our artistic nature through painting with Ashley Quigel from Glitzy Chicks. Art Therapy is a creative method of expression used as a therapeutic technique. It is based on the belief that the creative process involved in artistic self-expression helps people to resolve conflicts and problems, develop interpersonal skills, manage behavior, reduce stress and increase self-awareness.

Come join in on the fun Wednesday, December 7th from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. with painting beginning at noon.

*This event will be held at the First Baptist Church located at 1201 N Robinson, OKC 73103

Parking: Please park in the First Baptist Church’s south lot on 11th St and Harvey, just south of the church building. Enter under green awning and follow directional signage to coffee shop.
