December Naturalist Fireside Chat

We begin with a look at observations, news, and notes on the natural world. Then the floor is open to all who want to ask questions, share observations, and connect with other nature lovers. This begins another new monthly series of online presentations modeled after Ranger talks offered by the National Park Service.

Our presenter, Jeff Babson, is the Wildlife Viewing Program Specialist for Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation, and leads programs focusing on birds, bats, butterflies, moths, dragonflies, and other wildlife. He is thrilled to live in southern Arizona, one of the most biologically diverse places in the United States, and to share his passion for the natural world.
