Zen Flow and Yoga Nidra
Enjoy 90 minutes of pure awareness combining movement and stillness to reset the mind body connection. We'll embark upon a journey inward with 60 minutes of mindful gentle Zen Flow and finish with 30 minutes of Yoga Nidra. You will move from the inside outward, and back in again.
Zen flow is purposeful gentle movement combining various yoga postures with moments of pause for reflection and connection. The practice will help to create space and ease in the body for pain relief, and to help remove areas of stickiness, both physically and mentally. It is also designed as a meditation in motion, allowing for continuous connection to the breath and sensations in the physical body. Practicing with full awareness.
Yoga Nidra is guided relaxation performed while lying flat and supported on the mat. It is effective for creating a profound state of relaxation while remaining fully aware and awake.
This entire practice is designed specifically to achieve a sustainable mind body connection, create space and ease in the body, encourage mindfulness and improve brain function. It is suitable for all levels of practitioners.
The class coincides with the Winter Solstice, which encourages us to go inward and reconnect with the true Self and our true purpose. We will set an intention to manifest between now and the Summer Solstice.
