Drink & learn about awesome coffee on a Sunday afternoon!
We'll discuss coffee in general & current "third wave" coffee culture, learn about each specific coffee and where it came from, and then smell, "break the crust," and slurp three different coffees side by side roasted by Tinker Coffee Co.: two single-origins and our signature ZING blend of chocolatey Nicaraguan, berry-sweet Ethiopian Sidamo, and smoky Sumatran.
We have 8 sets of tasting cups, to be shared between 2 people each - bring a friend (or not)! Everyone gets a clipboard and tasting wheel to help think about the possible flavors and take notes.
$10/person for a fun, educational, interactive tasting experience, a full-color Counter Culture Flavor Wheel to take home, and all the coffee you can handle - we'll have plenty of our cold brew flowing in addition to the cupping coffees. Purchase tickets in advance online or at the Lab to reserve your spot - we cap it at 16 people.
And if you like what you taste, take some home! We have two options:
1) Pay $20 for your ticket plus a bag of beans included, or
2) Pay $10 for your ticket and receive $3 off a bag of beans day of.
All of our 12 oz bags are normally $15, so the first option saves you $5, the second saves you $3.
