An ex-OSHA Compliance Officer, Bruce brings 40+ years of experience consulting to and representing the industry in issues related to industrial hygiene, safety, loss control, and environmental management experience. He is also a regular speaker and sought-after adviser to governmental entities and regulatory agencies on both environmental and health and safety issues.

Deborah Barsotti, PhD, DABT

Vice President – Applied Toxicology & Public Health Risk

Dr. Barsotti’s unusual combination of toxicology and public health expertise makes her uniquely qualified to navigate risk-based solutions for the most complex environmental issues. She works closely with both industry and regulatory bodies at state and federal agencies on issues such as vapor intrusion, Superfund and RCRA Risk Assessments, chemical-specific risk assessment, and potential community impacts associated with air quality.

Continuing Professional Education Services, LLC (CPES), the product of PB&J Continuing Professional Education Services, LLC and has the mission of providing continuing education courses to professionals as well as lectures and special events to the professional community. CPES will be offering courses that provide required credits for Licensed Site Remediation Professionals, attorneys, professional engineers and many other professionals certified and/or licensed in the states of Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania to name a few.

Continuing Professional Education Services, LLC is the brain child of Dr. Jorge H. Berkowitz and Philip I. Brilliant. From the inception of the Continuing Environmental Education for Professional (CEEP) program at the College of Science and Mathematics (CSAM) at Montclair State University, Dr. Berkowitz and Mr. Brilliant have been in the classroom and in the boardroom assuring the success of the program. In order to better serve the community of professionals, Dr. Berkowitz and Mr. Brilliant stepped forward with a solution that has saved the ability to offer continuing education credit-bearing courses.
