Celebrating Our Work with the Professionals of the Diabetes Camping Community

Grab your calendar! DECA's 2023 International Diabetes Camping Conference will be held in Orlando, Florida February 19-20, 2023 (Sunday-Monday). This meeting will focus on the administrative, programming and recreational aspects of diabetes camping and retreat activities. (The date of a 2023 diabetes camping Medical Conference will be announced in the near future.) While there is no timeframe that is perfect on everyone’s calendar, this gathering is just ahead of the New Venture Fund meeting on Tuesday, February 21 (tentatively scheduled morning to noon event) and the American Camp Association (ACA) National Conference afternoon of Tuesday to Friday afternoon February 21-24. The Rosen Centre (https://www.rosencentre.com/) will serve as the site host for the events and lodging.

The DECA Conference will begin with a structured social gathering on Sunday afternoon and will continue with a formal program of educational breakouts, a keynote luncheon, don’t miss the 2nd Annual DECA SWAP and an optional evening dinner gathering on Monday.

The Conference Planning Committee is busily working out the details of the two-day event. Based on the most recent attendee feedback we have live speakers, intentional networking opportunities, and options for remote attendees to join.
