About this Event

Join us for our third Sustainability Speaker event of 2020-2021! To learn more about the series and future events visit Sunnyvale.ca.gov/people/sustainability/speaker.htm

Do you want to know how Sunnyvale and the South Bay plan to improve transportation? Principal Transportation Planner, Meghan, will discuss local and statewide policy solutions. Learn how shifts in development and investment patterns can create more transportation choices. Our speakers will also share specific examples of the ever-expanding options for local travel. In this talk you will learn:

- How other cities incentivize transit-oriented development

- How cities can design safe and welcoming streets for all users

- Ways to improve our transportation systems to make it easier to get around, allowing our region to continue to grow and thrive.

So, dismount your bike, park your EV, and hop off the Caltrain to listen to this transit-oriented talk!

This is a FREE event sponsored by City of Sunnyvale and the Sunnyvale Sustainability Commission. Registered attendees will be emailed the webinar link in the days preceding the event.
