Event description
Pot luck! REQUIRED: mask while indoors, sanitize hands, respect social distance.

About this event

This is RYSEC’s annual Winter Festival! A few games, a bit of winter fun, and we'll carefully share a meal together.

Proof of vaccination is required for 12 years and older. We will follow New York City in-person restaurant guidelines, which includes wearing masks when we’re moving around, and removing them to eat, while social distancing. Hand sanitizer will be available.

Bring some food to share. Suggestion: bring something from your heritage, or a favorite holiday dish. We could use some volunteers to arrive about 10:30 to help set up the room.

11 a.m. is gathering time, to meet and greet one another and put the food on the table. The fun starts at 11:15, and we'll start eating around 11:45, cleaning up cooperatively afterwards and ending by 1 p.m.

There will be no Zoom room this week.

What to Bring?

A main dish, side dish, or dessert that serves about 8 people. (We often have too many desserts for Winter Festival.) Or beverages for 8-10 people. Note on your registration what you're thinking of bringing (you can change your mind). We will trust that you'll use excellent sanitation procedures when preparing and packaging the food.

What to Do When You Arrive?

Food and drink items can be put on the serving tables when you arrive.
