We meet every second Monday of the month (except April and August).
Book a place and join us for drink, food and conversation about dying, death and what is beyond.
A Death Cafe is a group directed discussion group, it's not a grief support or counselling session. To make it a safe place for people to speak of personal experiences, sharing thoughts and ideas, we ask for confidentiality and for respect of differences in beliefs or life style. Every Death Cafe is different. Some people will be coming for the first time and some people have attended this Death Cafe many times.
Please come prepared to spend £8 per person on delicious food and drink to make it worthwhile for the cafe owner hosting us.
Arrive from 6pm onwards and order food and drink at the bar.
We start at 6.30pm. We will take a short break after 8pm, followed by a plenary/feedback from each table in the whole group. The evening ends at 9.15pm. The last 10 minutes of the evening are taken up with filling in feedback sheets. Your feedback and stats will be published anonymously as part of a write-up on our Death Cafe page.
We like to take photos to add to the write-ups. Please let us know if you do not want to be in the picture.
You don't need a ticket! It is enough to have your name on the guest register. Thank you
We look forward to seeing you!
