The format for the evening is to spend the first part of the evening in conversation in small groups. In the last 30 minutes we come together with everyone in a large circle to reflect on the evening.
At Death Cafe we meet to talk about death in a safe, friendly, non judgemental and respectful atmosphere, allowing for differences in experiences, belief, life style or world view. We come together as fellow mortals to talk about a subject that concers us all, with the aim to become perhaps more comfortable with talking and thinking about death as part of ordinary life.
The studio is on the ground floor on the far side of the building. We leave a sign on the door and a large jar with a tea light to sign post it in the dark.
