Event description
Volunteer leaders and literacy enthusiasts are needed to read with students one-on-one for March is Reading Month at Salina Elementary.

About this Event

Volunteers are needed to read one-on-one with students at Salina Elementary School in Dearborn!

Come join us for the Dearborn Leaders and Literacy Day on the morning of March 4th from 7:30-9:30! Connect with a student by sharing your passion for literacy and empowering them in their own path to leadership. Each student will walk away with their own copy of “Yasmin the Superhero” by Saadia Faruqi.

The event will include a brief training, snacks and refreshments. Participation in this event is free, but volunteers have the option to donate to support future Literacy Days and enrichment opportunies for students in Dearborn.

"This is such an amazing program! I was very happy to be a part of the Literacy Day and have an impact." - Former volunteer
