MARK RUFFALO, Executive Producer & Narrator

An acclaimed actor, producer, director, humanitarian, husband and father. He has been involved in many projects promoting renewable energy and the transition away from fossil fuel extraction. He is a founder of both Water Defense and the Solutions Project.

JON BOWERMASTER, Writer, Filmmaker and Adventurer
Six-time grantee of the National Geographic Expeditions Council and award-winning writer and filmmaker Bowermaster was recently named one of a dozen Ocean Heroes by the NGS. His website and blog (‘Notes from Sea Level,’ www.jonbowermaster.com) continues his reporting on the world’s coastlines, the people who live along them and issues of importance to anyone interested in and concerned about the planet’s one ocean. Jon is also the author of twelve books, his most recent was a companion to Jacques Perrin’s Disney Nature film “Oceans.”

Writer, director and producer of twenty documentary films, his most recent are “Antarctica 3D, On the Edge,” “Sink or Swim, Learning the Crawl in the Maldives,” “After the Spill, Louisiana Water Stories, Part II,” “The Hudson, River At Risk,” “Dear Governor Brown” and “Paradise Is There,” a collaboration with partner Natalie Merchant.
