The John Cook School of Business invites you to a special Dean's Breakfast presentation with Alfred J. Verrecchia, Former CEO and Chairman of Hasbro on Thursday, April 6. The event takes place in the Cook School and begins with a complimentary networking breakfast in the atrium at 7:30 a.m. and presentation will follow in the A-B Auditorium.
About the Speaker
In 1965, Alfred J. Verrecchia began his career in the toy industry as a staff accountant at Hasbro, working his way up to CEO in 2003. During his tenure as CEO, Verrecchia was one of the prime architects in building and executing a strategy focused on aggressively leveraging the Company’s unmatched portfolio of brands in a wide range of categories beyond traditional toys and games. Prior to his tenure as CEO, Verrecchia held a range of senior executive positions at Hasbro, including Chief Financial Officer and President, Hasbro Manufacturing Services, among others. He assumed the position of Chairman in 2008. In 2015, Verrecchia retired as Chairman after 50 years with the company.
