About Dr. Lucy Rattrie, Chartered Psychologist, ELAR Horizons

Lucy is a Chartered Psychologist, consultant and coach in personal resilience and wellbeing, who also lectures and researches in this area. She has a scholarship funded Doctorate completed in Geneva on improving well-being and engagement of business travelers, is published in top journals, such as the British Journal of Psychiatry, a speaker at international conferences and has ten years of experience applying her expertise in a range of industries.

A positive psychologist, she is passionate about helping people and businesses improve wholebeing and becoming wonderbeings, with physical and psychological health and happiness, positivity, energy, creativity and transforming all of this into effectiveness. She is currently working on a project exploring how business travelers can achieve this, to feel good and function well with life on the road.

Lucy is certified in psychological coaching for resilience, health and wellbeing, plus psychological profiling / psychometric assessments and is a member of the BPS Coaching and Occupational Psychology Divisions, amongst other professional bodies.

As a part-time BBC TV presenter and avid health enthusiast, she inspires others to enjoy sport and the outdoors. She has lived in the USA, Australia, Norway, France and Switzerland, travelled to 50 + countries and has an interest in medicinal nutrition. She clears the mind with trail running, hiking in the mountains, cycling, skiing, iron-man and balances all the activity with yoga, exploring the world as much as possible. ​
