About this Event

Deaf Futures 2021 (Online | Ongoing throughout 2021) image

Deaf Unity is fast becoming one of the leading portals for deaf people. Our mission is to unite the Deaf Community and be a pillar of support, unification and inspiration. We work across 3 key pillars, education, employment and wellbeing, to empower deaf people, celebrate achievements and share successes.

We also believe in working with those outside the Community who can lend their support and expertise, or are willing to increase their awareness and appreciation of what the Community and its members can offer wider society.

Sign up to our Deaf Futures Online Series to receive regular inspiring and fun content straight to your inbox. The series will be made up of a series of content releases, which will be sent to your email inbox. Over the next few months we will be sharing:

  • Video interviews
  • Presentations
  • Panel discussions
  • and more!

On topics such as:

  • Writing the optimum personal statement for UCAS, with Heather Judd of West Kent College
  • CV masterclass: How to impress top employers, with Shelly O'Gilvie of Bright Network
