You're Invited to the 3rd Annual Deaf Celebration Day
In recognition of September being Deaf Awareness Month, please join us by celebrating our 3rd Annual Deaf Celebration Day in partnership with the DCRelay, Gallaudet University, the National Association of the Deaf, DC Commission on Persons with Disabilities, Anthem, the DC Developmental Disabilities Council, the DC Department on Disability Services, the National Association of the Deaf, Deaf-Reach, and Age Friendly DC.

Enjoy the celebration with ASL performers and Deaf talent

Meet with local Deaf-Focused organizations and find out about resources and programs offered in our community

Learn about the rights of residents who are Deaf, Deaf-Blind, or Hard of Hearing
This event is open to everyone; bring your friends, neighbors, colleagues, and family members!
Transportation: The closest Metro Stop is NOMA - Gallaudet U. - New York Ave (Red line). The closest Bus Stop for buses, 90, 92, and 93 is at Florida Ave and 8th Street NE. There is free parking available on Gallaudet's Campus.
Accessibility: The building is wheelchair accessible. We will have ASL Interpreters and a CART Interpreter available. Please refrain from wearing any perfumes or colognes. For any other reasonable accomodations please make the request at your earliest convenience. Wheelchair access into the Museum is located from the Florida Avenue side, an elevator between Chapel Hall and Fowler Hall. From the Mall side, a ramp between Chapel Hall and College Hall.
