Distilled from a high rye thin mash with local NY grains and wormwood before being stave aged in American and French oak. Different from a typical absinthe, we distill and age our wormwood rye to drink straight like a whiskey. With notes of rye spiciness and smoky oak- no water and no sugar is needed, and no anise or licorice is used. Crafted over a decade, bottling the feel of absinthe and the heart of rye. Our wormwood spirit is a complex and perfect go-to drink that redefines what wormwood spirits can be. Substitutes uniquely for classic whiskey cocktails because of the grain and oak aging.

Fermenting on the grain and then distilling with fresh grains suspended in the column make for a unique buttery corn and spicy rye taste that distinguishes our moonshine to rival any whiskey. Bottling only a very selective Heart Cut portion brings you face-to-face with the complex grain flavor, broad body, and smooth taste. No swill! An American Dry Gin single distilled with the whiskey drinker in mind. Keeping all of our spirits grain forward is a departure from most gins that are re-distilled from a neutral spirit and tend to be lighter and sharper in nature. With fresh botanicals and herbs in the column of our still, company vapor infuses a distinct botanical character along with velvety wormwood undertones for a deeper atmospheric profile of orris root and rosehip to balance down the bright juniper notes. A round body then gives way to a spicy smoked cardamom finish for a unique sipping gin with a wormwood kick. This is a gin that can be enjoyed straight or on the rocks but also gives a unique twist to classic cocktails like a Negroni or a Martinez.
