Description

On Tuesday 22nd of May 2018 we invite all HTRO-TM alumni for the annual alumni-event at our home base Saxion Deventer. Together with our first year students and part-time students at Saxion you are given the opportunity to get familiar with the purpose economy and its influence on the tourism industry. Our program will be offered in English in order to show our true hospitality to all interested in attending this event.

Offering an authentic and hospitable experience is key in the tourism industry, how will your company truly offer something that will make the world a better place? How can you and your company not only create a valuable business in a economic sense, but also in terms of creating a positive influence in your environment and for the people that are connected to your business? Changing the tourism business models, from a gap in the market towards finding a gap in society is what the tourism industry can benefit from.

We hope you are up for a challenging, inspiring and interactive evening that will help you to understand the "purpose economy" (Aaron Hurst, 2017).

After having been introduced to Buddhist teaching, Kees Klomp decided to quit his job and use his business skills solely to help humanity - not hurt it.
