De-Escalating Self and Others

This outstanding course has a research-based foundation and trains in situational/social/self-awareness and interaction abilities. You are given the knowledge to enter into any encounter successfully, engage strangers productively and safely, adapt and recover to a given behavior, and disengage effectively.

The foundational competencies adopted directly from the Tactical Social Interaction® course has demonstrated to enhance the ability to adapt to and navigate culturally diverse environments, as well as complex social situations while maintaining strong environmental awareness. During this course, I2S places stranger encounters in a context that allows for simple steps - from the planning, encounter/engagement, and disengagement. The competencies enhance self-awareness, analytical ability, situational awareness, and interactive and de-escalation skill.
