The community is invited to a special exhibition, reception, and musical performance around the Cajón drum! Featuring more than 10 artists and directed by Juan de Diós Soto, this exhibition includes installations, photography, audiovisual media, painting, and sculpture about Cajón, which originates from the Afro-Peruvian community. The event will open with a reception and musical presentation with the Cajón drum by Afro-Peruvian music and dance company “Jaranon y Bochinche”.

Program:
6:00 PM – Open Doors, Food served
6:30 PM – Traditional Peruvian Live Music by Jaranon y Bochinche
7:15 PM – Reception De Cajón: Tocando la historia by Juan de Dios Soto
