DC’s Annual Truck Touch

Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 3, 2023! Join us at RFK Stadium, Lot 8, from 8 am to 1 pm for the exhilarating District of Columbia's annual "Truck Touch" extravaganza. Be captivated as students demonstrate their electric vehicle knowledge and energy efficiency skills, racing around a vibrant track in their individually engineered vehicles.

Prepare for a day packed with a variety of activities aimed at both children and adults. You will have the chance to discover almost 30 unique vehicles used by several DC government departments, including those for street cleaning, traffic regulation, garbage collection, snow clearance, emergency response, and even mobile healthcare.

Brought to you by the DC Department of Public Works, this event invites youngsters to clamber onto the trucks, while adults can try their hands at operating different equipment. The DC Department of Parks and Recreation will also host an assortment of activities suitable for all ages, like tennis, basketball, and fitness sessions. In cooperation with the DC Free Summer Meals Program, we will be offering free packed lunches for children under 18.
