About this event

This year we will feature a panel of female physicians and other influential professional women discussing all topics ranging from the benefits of life coaching, fitness, style, and mental health. DCMS member physician, Stephanie Byerly, MD, will lead the diverse panel in an interactive discussion designed to encourage and inform our audience on how to find joy in your personal and professional life.

Dr. Byerly will share her own stories about how seeking a life coach changed her life and helped her find joy and balance in her life again. Joining Dr. Byerly for the conversation include Donna Richardson Joyner, author and celebrity fitness icon, Dina Hijazi, PhD, psychologist, and Hanis Hussey, certified sleep coach.

Learning Objectives:

1. Recognize thought patterns and communication habits that are causing stress, distress and burnout and develop new effective ones.

2. Discuss the difference between coaching and therapy..

3. Implement tools and strategies to optimize satisfaction and lessen burnout throughout medical career
