Description
Trying to crack a new story idea? Enjoy watching people have creative breakthroughs? Or looking to be entertained by some lighthearted nonsense?
Interruption is a storytelling show featuring local performers telling some of their favorite stories and getting fantastically derailed (yes) by interruptions from their host.
During the show, names are draw and willing audiences members (and a few folks pre-picked to be in the storytelling hot seat) are invited up to tell a tale. Part storytelling, part comedy show, many parts non sequitur.
This show is led by Katherine Jessup and Ali Cherry. Katherine is a performer, artist, and world traveler who's always looking for her next misadventure. Ali performs stand up comedy, produces and hosts comedy shows in coffee shops, teaches stand up, and runs the DC Writers' Salon.
This event is BYOB. Tickets are $8. Salon members and participants attend for $4.
