About this Event

DC STEM Fair - Elementary

The DC STEM Fair is the premier student STEM competition in the District of Columbia. This event brings together students from all eight wards to create, problem-solve, and innovate. The DC STEM Fair - Elementary - is open to students grades 3 - 5 including home school students and students enrolled in public, charter, parochial and private schools in DC.

Volunteers are needed on Friday, May 31st and on Saturday, June 1st. There are several shifts available. Please register for as many as you can. Roles to include registration, project set-up, room set-up, food service and room monitors.

Volunteers will be expected to attend an orientation webinar in advance of the Fair. Your shift and assignment will be provided during the orientation webinar.

Elementary Fair – June 1, 2019

The Elementary STEM Fair will be held Saturday, June 1, 2019 at University of the District of Columbia (UDC) Student Center, 4200 Connecticut Ave NW (Metro: Van Ness-UDC).

Registration opens on April 3, open to students in grades 3-5.

2019 Elementary DC STEM Fair Dates:

April 3, 2019: Registration opens for Volunteers

May 24, 2019: Volunteer registration closes at midnight

June 1, 2019: Elementary DC STEM Fair & Elementary Awards Ceremony at UDC Student Center. Awards Ceremony 11:45 am - 12:45 pm.
