About this Event

DC STEM Fair - Elementary

The DC STEM Fair is the premier student STEM competition in the District of Columbia. This event brings together students from all eight wards to create, problem-solve, and innovate. The STEM Fair is open to all students grades 3 -5 including home school students and students enrolled in public, charter, parochial and private schools in DC.

Judges will be expected to attend two orientations: 1) a webinar in advance of the Fair and 2) an on-site orientation meeting at 8:30 am the morning of June 1st.

Elementary Fair – June 1, 2019

The Elementary STEM Fair will be held Saturday, June 1, 2019 at University of the District of Columbia (UDC) Student Center, 4200 Connecticut Ave NW (Metro: Van Ness-UDC).

Registration opens on April 3 and is open to students in grades 3-5.

2019 Elementary DC STEM Fair Dates:

April 3, 2019: Registration opens for judges

May 24, 2019: Registration closes at midnight

June 1, 2019: Elementary DC STEM Fair & Awards Ceremony at UDC Student Center. The Awards Ceremony is scheduled for 11:45 am - 1:30 pm.
