Description

Leadership Workshop is a daylong leadership conference for high school students in the DC/VA/MD area.

It is organized by a group of Georgetown students, in collaboration with Georgetown University's student government and Center for Social Justice, who want to use the resources of our university to serve of our local community, specifically through sharing high-quality leadership education.

Undergraduates, along with esteemed faculty advisers, will offer leadership training for high school students with an intentional focus on character development, leadership theory, goal setting, time and stress management, conflict resolution, effective communication, and group dynamics. Student delegates will spend the day bonding with peers from across the DC/VA/MD area while enhancing their self-confidence and teamwork skills in a positive environment where individuality and diversity are valued and encouraged.
