CapitalBop presents the
Todd Marcus Jazz Orchestra
with Christie Dashiell of Afro Blue – live at the Dunes
Don't miss the first of three amazing nights in CapitalBop's D.C. Jazz Loft Series at the DC Jazz Festival. Bass clarinetist, composer and big band leader Todd Marcus brings his prestigious, exploratory nine-piece ensemble to the Dunes, a multipurpose creative space and art gallery in Columbia Heights. Marcus is joined on the bill by Christie Dashiell, the talented vocalist who wowed millions last year as the leading light of Afro Blue, the Howard University a capella ensemble that nearly prevailed on NBC's The Sing-Off. All ages are welcome. The series is sponsored by Hipnotic Records, and sponsored in part by GNT LLC.
