Event description

Description

Founded in 2004, the D.C. Firefighters Burn Foundation is a non-profit organization established by active and retired Washington, D.C. firefighters. The Foundation is dedicated to assisting in the recovery and rehabilitation of injured firefighters and burn survivors from the Washington metropolitan region. Firefighters and members of the Burn Center have a special empathy for burn survivors. No other group witnesses more of the devastation that fire wreaks on the human body and spirit.

On Saturday, May 18, 2019 the D.C. Firefighters Burn Foundation will host our second annual Night at the Market at the Eastern Market’s North Hall in Washington, D.C. This event will offer attendees with a taste of some of D.C.’s best restaurants as well as area breweries and distilleries. Attendees and sponsors will not only experience a taste of local flavors but also have an opportunity to bid on some great packages through our silent auction as well as music and dancing with music by the Trilogy Band.

Ticket must be purchased in advance and are $100 through March 30th, $125 from April 1st - 21st and $150 after April 22nd. Ticket purchases include all drinks and food from local DC restaurants including The Salt Line, The Dubliner, Acqua Al 2, Rocklands BBQ, Boundary Stone and more.
