Description

Please join the DC Coalition Against Domestic Violence for a discussion on understanding domestic violence and supporting survivors. DCCADV will provide information on the dynamics of domestic violence and abusive relationships, and will discuss best practices for engaging with and supporting survivors in a case management and housing context. Resources for survivors and their families in DC will also be shared.

This training is optional for Friendship Place staff and open to the public, and facilitated by Leanne Brotsky & Latoya Young of DCCADV.

In that role, she provides training, technical assistance, and education on domestic violence and healthy relationships to service providers, non-profit organizations, government agencies, schools, and the larger DC community.
