Event description

Description

Join the Civic Health Workshop at 3:00pm to meet Sikh and Muslim civic leaders from across the DMV and to learn about how we can build our civic health and become a more resilient community while challenging racialized anti-Muslim bigotry. Participants will learn about how to boost their civic practices and get better connected to local government.

Stick around for the D.C. Civic Roundtable at 4:00pm to meet government officials from ward and district level agencies. This is an opportunity for local community members to build connections with their government representatives who are already in office. Participants will discuss their ideas for community improvement and leave with a network of local supporters and resources to become civic leaders themselves!

Street parking may be available on Mass Ave and 38th St NW. This event is Metro BUS accessible.
