DAYDREAM REVIEW
Elijah Montez began his psychedelic pop project Daydream Review after moving across the country from Austin to Chicago. While he cut his teeth in the live music capital of the world, he began writing his first songs as Daydream Review in anticipation of this big change. In this way, Daydream Review's songs are equally about the excitement that expectations of the future can bring as much as the anxiety or dread. Just as Montez's lyrics walk the line between excitement and anxiety, his multi-layered songs offer moments of clarity in between his reverberated vocals, fuzzy guitars, and a wash of keyboards. In 2021, Daydream Review released a first self-titled EP via Cold Lunch Recordings, with more releases to come throughout 2022.
OUX
Oux (pronounced “Awe”) is a Chicago based pop duo. Comprised of Indigo (they/them) and Manae (she/her), Oux released two singles in 2018, and began performing in Chicago after relocating from L.A. They released their first EP, “Honeymood” in September 2019. In 2020, they released their single “Rise” and the “Queer Like Me” music video after signing with Chillwavve Records to rerelease Honeymood

Empty Bottle will require all staff, patrons, and performers to provide proof of full vaccination (two weeks after final dose). A negative test will NOT be accepted. Patrons will be asked to show their valid vaccination card (photocopy or digital photo is permissible) when they arrive at the door for entry. Additionally, masks will be worn by staff at all times and will be required of all attendees when not eating and drinking. We are applying these requirements to all future shows and will update the policy as needed or as new guidance requires.
This is a very difficult time for everyone to navigate and we understand that you may be frustrated. We are as well. Please bear with us as we try to keep our staff, artists, patrons, and the City of Chicago safe -- as best we can. Remember that we are all going through this together as a community, and we can beat this if we work together as a community.
