Day on the Lake 2019

Update 6/7/3019: We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow. Online registration is closed, but feel free to join us and register on site.

Update 5/16/2019: All our accessible kayaking and Outrigger canoeing slots have been taken. But we ask that you still register if you are interested in attending Day on the Lake 2019. There is a chance that we will have open spots available in case someone does not show. We will also have a handclycle clinic and other activites.

Due to last years huge success, Santa Clara Valley Medical Center and the Valley Medical Center Foundation bring you, Day on the Lake 2019!

Thank you for your interest in Day on the Lake. Day on the Lake, welcomes anyone in the disabled community interested in accessible water sports and disability resources. At Day at the Lake, attendees will have the opportunity to tryout accessible kayaking, accessible Outrigger canoeing, enjoy free food, music, bounce house for kids, craft tables, peddal boats, connect with local non-profits that provide services to the disabled community and access to other fun activites.

In order to register for the event and participate in an activity, registration information must be filled out in its entirety. This information is vital to our ability to take participants out on lake adventures in a safe manner. If this form is not filled out, you will not be able to participate in the lake activities. Participant with a disability will be able to have a caregiver/family memeber join in the activity.

Please enter through the main Vasona Lake entrance and head to the, "Boat Center Area". Entrance to the park is free with a disabled placard.

VMC Eployees and their families:

Kayak, paddleboats, and canoes will be availabe to VMC Staff for $10 (50%off). Free parking/entrance is also available to VMC eployees by letting the Ranger know you are a VMC employee. We look forward to hosting our VMC families.
