Day of Hope Walk 2017 -Stepping Together Through Suicide and Overdose

Join us the morning of July 15, 2017, for our annual Day of Hope Walk. Step Together with us as we aim to bring Help, Healing, and Resources, while Breaking the Stigma associated with Suicide and Unintentional Overdose.
We come together not because it is easy, but because it is needed. We come together to remember those whom we have lost; to comfort those who are hurting; to share needed resources; and to break down the silence which abounds around Suicide and Unintentional Overdose.
We are honored to have a number of speakers this year along with all the other activities.
Past participants have raved about what a great day it is! Enjoyable, relaxing, healing, beautiful, insightful, a wonderful day, are just a few comments.
The morning will consist of wonderful speakers, music, new & loved activities, memorabilia, yard games, food, a raffle, of course the Walk, and more. Our Walk has THREE levels to allow all to participate. Participants are able decide how much or how little they want to do.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
EVERYONE 13 and over will need to be registered and will receive walker benefits. Children 12 and under will need to be with a registered parent or guardian and will receive most Walker benefits. T-shirts will not be given to 12 & under.
What are my parking options at the event?
Parking will be next door at the Wooster Church of the Nazarene parking lot. Handicap parking will be available.
What can I bring to the event?
You may bring a picture of your loved one to the event. We will have a display area for you. Otherwise, bring your family, friends, neighbors.
What NOT to I bring to the event?
DO NOT bring your pets. NO pets will be allowed, except for assistance animals.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Because of all the inclusions with your registrations, Registrations are nonrefudable, but are transferrable. You can transfer on here, but there is a transfer fee. Please notify us if you have questions.
Can I update my registration information?
You may update your registration information for a period of time. Late registrations will not be available for updates.
Can we form teams?
Yes, PLEASE feel free to Create TEAMS! You can Create a Team on here for others to join. Decide on a TEAM NAME and then INVITE your classmates, family, friends, co-workers, etc. to join your team. Visit our website for printable forms.
Can I come if I am unable to walk or walk far?
Certainly! We have THREE available walking paths, with varying degrees of difficulty. Everyone chooses to particiapte in some way. Sitting area available too.

You are agreeing to waive rights and will not hold Hope for THIS Step, Inc., the Day of Hope Walk 2017 Committee, or any other subcommittees, volunteers, sponsors, affiliates, etc. responsible for any accidents, injuries, etc.**
