Do you love good, healthy, locally-grown food? Do you care deeply about our food future, protecting natural resources, and habitat restoration? If so, then this is your chance to dig in and get your hands dirty with the Trust at Jubilee Biodynamic Farm for Day of Caring on 9/18!
We'll spend Day of Caring ensuring the health and biodiversity of a crucial buffer area of the farm, which protects the Snoqualmie River and provides important habitat for pollinators, birds, and beneficial insects. Our team will clear the area of aggressive weeds, which will create space for native species to thrive and keep the local sustainable farming system healthy.
Our Day of Caring project will include training and a chance to learn more about how we conserve sustainable Washington farmland over a delicious, locally prepared lunch.
More about Day of Caring: Our friends at United Way host this annual event that this year incorporates more than 500 volunteer projects and 10,000+ volunteers! Be a part of something big this September and join us!
