New to Coastal NC? Want to increase your garden and landscaping knowledge to work smarter and not harder? This 8-session program is for you!

About this event

This 8-session program will be offered on Zoom, recorded, and emailed to attendees for up to a week for review.

The programs is taught by NC State Cooperative Extension/Brunswick County Staff and Master Gardener Volunteers.

Session topics are as follows: Intro/Soil Fundamentals; Turf & Fertilization; Insects, Diseases, & Integrated Pest Management; Growing Vegetables; All About Woody Ornamentals; Pruning; Annuals and Perennials That Grow Well Here; and Native Plants in the Landscape. A wealth of related resources will also be emailed to attendees after each session for downloading and for future reference.

Registration is open from Nov. 15 through Jan. 15. Sessions begin Monday, Jan. 24.

The fee for the program supports the Brunswick County Botanical Demonstration Garden and other consumer horticultural outreach activities within Brunswick County.
