Event Details

Kennebec Explorers Camp

This camp will help foster your child's natural curiosity for history and science.  Campers will explore the unique ecosystem of Merrymeeting Bay and its dynamic history that make it one of America's most special waterways.

Outdoor excursions, guided activities and hands-on projects make this camp one of our most popular.

Recommended for students ages 6-11 years old.

There are three sessions of camp:  June 25-29, July 23-27 and August 20-24, 2012.

Camp runs from 9am-4pm Monday through Friday, and early drop-off and late pick-up is available (8am-5pm) for an additional $25.00

Snacks will be provided and campers should bring lunch and be prepared for indoor and outdoor activities each day.

This program is made possible thanks to support from the Merrymeeting Bay Trust and the collaborative efforts of Cathance River Education Alliance and the Kennebec Estuary Land Trust.
