Do I need to be an experienced runner to join?

Not at all! We welcome all abilities—from beginners to seasoned runners. Our goal is to create a supportive, social environment. No one is left behind.

How long is the run and what’s the route?

The run is 5K (3.1 miles), starting and finishing near East Croydon Station. The route is a loop using local roads and green spaces where possible. It’s safe, scenic, and well-paced.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive by 5:00 AM so we can start promptly at 5:10 AM. This allows time for a quick warm-up and group intro.

How much does it cost?

It’s completely free. We believe running should be accessible to everyone. All we ask is that you register so we know who’s attending.

What should I bring?

Just comfortable clothes, running shoes, and a water bottle. If it's dark or foggy, we recommend a hi-vis top and/or a head torch for safety.

What happens if it rains?

We run in all weather—sun, rain, or snow! If it’s unsafe (e.g., ice or storms), we’ll contact you via Eventbrite/email and post on @weruncroydon Instagram.
