PRESENTING DESIGNERS

Showcasing Designer: Anastasia is an American designer, creating a heritage level Collection one year at a time. Chicago-based fashion designer Anastasia Chatzka was born and raised in Detroit. Those early years spent exploring the expansive Detroit music & art scene helped shape the womenswear designer she is today. Rich colors/prints and textures are woven into the DNA that is recognizably an Anastasia garment. She is most known for her fun flirty dresses and separates - coining the term #soanastasia.

Showcasing Designers; Taj B by Latrina Brown, I was an ambitious kid growing up, always wanting to know the next thing to jump into. I was a young parent, a mother of three. Despite being a young single parent, I continued to be driven. My desire to pursue fashion was sparked by my Uncle AL Brown. When I was a young girl, before I had my children. He had a clothing line and would produce some of the most elaborate and amazing fashion shows. I would see him sit at his desk and sketch a beautiful gown, turn to his sewing machine and turn that exact image into reality. When I saw that gown come down the runway on the model, that's when I fell in love. My dreams of becoming a fashion Designer were only temporarily delayed because, my children were my first priority and my greatest motivation. In 2006, they were older and I knew that was the time to pursue my dream. My children's first initial in each of their names as how I formed my label's name. Taj B:. ( Taj B Designs, is more than a name. It's family) I started my design company and it was going well but, I felt it wasn't truly me. I didn't feel as though I was true to my business; I wanted to be the one who brought the concept into conception. With that being said, I went back to school and received a Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree in Fashion Design. I've recently relocated to California to flourish my career. I see the world thru "Rose" colored lenses. ; even though my children have always been my greatest motivation... I approach life with tenacity and grace . Believing, "That there's Beauty In All Things"...

She has been sewing under her Hannah Kristina Designs label for almost two years Nowadays, she is a Des Moines, Iowa-based designer specializing in evening wear. She fell in love with the aspect of wanting to help women look and feel confident and beautiful. Her design style can be described as simple yet sophisticated; she wants any woman to feel comfortable in one of her gowns. Hannah has previously shown collections in Omaha, Kansas City, and Des Moines Fashion Weeks.
