Samaritan’s Feet Walk: Millions of women and children die each year because of disease contracted from not having shoes. All participants of the walk are encouraged to donate a pair of or $10 to defray the cost of shipping of sneakers to the women and their families in Liberia. The walk is sponsored and hosted by the LINKS and will be taking place in Maplewood. The walk will not last until 2pm, there will be families activities and food provided at the event. We encourage that you arrive early so that you leave in time to freshen up and head to the next segment of the conference.
Taking Flight: the women will have a panel of professionals who will explain to them how to navigate through the systems of life: We call it the Women’s Black Book of People To Have In Your Friend Circle.
